IMPORTANT NOTICE - UPDATE : Due to the severity of the winter storm that passed through the Baltimore area this past weekend, the State of Maryland has again granted liberal leave to its employees. As such, our Hauling Permit Office will be closed on Monday, February 8, 2010.
If you have an emergency move please contact the Statewide Operations Center at 1-800-543-2515. Permit users are reminded that hauling permits are not valid during declared snow emergencies. Before attempting any moves you are required to check for snow emergency plans that may still be active along your route. Information regarding SNOW EMERGENCY PLANS can be found on the Maryland State Highway Administration's CHART website.
The Hauling Permit Office should resume operations on Tuesday, February 9th at 7:00 A.M. Thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation.
