Regional Information & Districts
The mission of the district office is to provide the traveling public with a safe well maintained highway system. The District Engineer is responsible for overseeing all areas of district operations which include: traffic, construction, maintenance, project development, right-of-way, and utilities. There are seven engineering districts which cover the 23 counties of the state. The district offices are located in Salisbury, Chestertown, Greenbelt, Brooklandville, Annapolis, LaVale, and Frederick.
